Beliefs

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Basic Beliefs

God

We believe there is one living and true God, eternally existing as one essence and three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit, each of whom are fully God, equally deserving worship and praise, yet there is one God.

The Bible

We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are God’s written revelation to Man. All scripture is breathed out by God, inerrant, and the the ultimate authority of faith and practice for followers of Jesus Christ.

Man

We believe that all mankind is created in the image of God and posses intrinsic dignity and worth. Man was created to enjoy God’s fellowship and to fulfill His purposes on the earth. However in Adam, all mankind fell into sin; consequently all people are spiritually dead and subject to the certainty of physical and spiritual death apart from faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace, through faith in Jesus Christ. Not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to God’s own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit.

The Church

We believe that all who are “born again” by the Holy Spirit belong to the one true church and are instructed by the Scriptures to associate themselves in local, visible churches. Each believer is an integral part of the church, and their names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Baptism In Water

Baptism should be observed by all that have repented of their sins and in their hearts have believed on Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Baptism outwardly expresses the inward reality of new life in Christ.

The Lord's Supper(Communion)

We believe that the Lord’s Supper is a memorial of Christ and His redemptive death. As believers, it is also an expression of our fellowship with one another. In communion we are reminded of Christ’s first coming and encouraged to look forward to His coming again.

The Second Coming

We believe that the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God and believers will be caught up to meet him in the air. Then believers return with Christ, to reign with Christ for a thousand years. After this thousand year reign the dead will be raised to judgment and the saved will enter into the eternal state of glory with God. Then the elements of this earth will be dissolved and there will be a new heaven and a new earth where righteousness dwells.
